Apple Lobbying for International Tax Amnesty to Bring Home Profits

So Apple is requesting that the government lower taxes on foreign earnings for a year from 35% to 5%, while turning around and charging content providers 30% of subscription fees while they ask for 2.5%.

Why not both? I usually side with Apple, but in this case it seems they are just being greedy.
