Why Be Great When You Can Be Profitable?

A.k.a. Microsoft.

A.k.a. Google.

I’m just getting tired of using Google products that are just ok.

They do the job, but it’s plain at best and mediocre if you are honest with yourself.

This ties back in to the article about the Cash Cow Disease by Ron Burk.

Just a bunch of 10% projects that nobody really cares about it seems.

    Ties back to corporate priorities. Google’s priorities are to the advertisers. Anything that doesn’t bring more value to the advertisers, and therefore to Google through ad revenue, gets cut.
