Corporate Priorities…

Great insight into the mobile telecom business.
It seems to me that when Stephen Elop did his rounds with the operators, they were pretty clear in voicing their opinions that 4 different platforms were one too many. This sounds reasonable, considering the amount of floor space that the operator stores have, combined with the amount of training required to educate the sales people of each individual platform. It’s interesting to see how the corporate priorities play out over a length of time, when a disrupting force enters the market.

Can a company drastically change priorities? Is it even possible?
